A.L.L. Dog Training is
an Elk Grove and Sacramento area based company.
A.L.L. does things a little differently from most other dog training
companies. We feel that dog training is about building better
communication skills between you and your dog. We do not "treat
train" or use harsh methods; everything is based on positive
reinforcement and dog psychology. Our clients learn how
to work with their dog through leadership, loyalty and love.
Your companion will want to work with you because the training
is fun and natural for your dog, rather than treat rewarding,
which only teaches your dog to respond to food. We work with all
breeds of dogs, all behavior types (aggressive or submissive)
and with every family who wants a well mannered companion. All
family members are welcome and encouraged to join in on the training!
A.L.L. Dog Training offers
different types of training; it all depends on what you
want to be able to do with your dog by the end of your program.
You can choose from basic, intermediate, advanced or off leash
training. All programs begin in your home and
then progress to group classes. Everything we
do is based on what you want your dog to learn. We offer everyone
a free consultation, so that we may evaluate your dog in its home
environment. Another purpose for the consultation is to give you
an opportunity to sit down with the company owner and discuss
in detail what you would like to achieve with your dog. Our goal
is for you and your dog to get the help that you need and we are
certain we can provide you with answers to all your questions!
As trainers, A.L.L.
finds the most success by teaching you how to be a better leader
for your dog! By having you as the leader, your dog learns to
respect you and will turn do what you are asking. This is because
you are becoming the alpha of the pack, which means your dog views
you as the leader and wants to follow you. We do not use “treat
training”, yelling, hitting or any other means of training
that will either confuse or abuse your dog into doing what is
asked of them. Our methods will entice your companion to do what
you ask because they want your praise and not out of fear or bribery.
We can start training as early as 6 weeks or
as late as 15 years of age…no dog is too young or old to
be in training. (If a puppy is enrolled in training home visits
can begin immediately but, group classes will need to wait until
the puppy has completed its vaccinations.)
